Mohel book of Kempen, 1842-1881, bound together with Sod ha-Shem, with the commentary of Sharviṭ ha-Zahav (Vienna, 1837) by Rabbi David Lida, of Mayence and later of Amsterdam. The book was originally published in Amsterdam, 1680. It contains the service for berit milah as well as other prayers for the child and discussions of the laws of berit milah. On the pages preceding the title page of Sod Ha-Shem, the name Elias Schlesinger is stamped in. There is no indication whether or not he was the mohel, although it is plausible.
